Varna
Varna is largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, second-largest in Bulgaria after Sofia, and 79th-largest in the European Union. The city has in excess of 20 km of sand beaches and abounds in thermal mineral water sources. It enjoys a mild continental climate influenced by the proximity to the sea. Varna is an important and growing economic centre for Bulgaria and the Black Sea region.
The economy is service-based, with 61% of net revenue generated in trade and tourism, 16% in manufacturing, 14% in transportation and communications, and 6% in construction. Tourism is of foremost importance, with the suburban beachfront resorts of Golden Sands, Holiday Club Riviera, Sunny Day, Constantine and Helena, and others with a total capacity of over 60,000 beds attracting millions of international visitors each year. The resorts received considerable internal and foreign investment in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and are environmentally sound, being located reassuringly far from chemical and other smokestack industries. Varna is also Bulgaria's only international cruise destination (with 26 cruises scheduled for 2007) and a major international convention and spa centre.
Real estate is booming, with some of the highest prices in the nation, often surpassing Sofia. Commercial real estate is developing international office tower projects such as Business Park Varna. Economically, Varna is considered among the best-performing Bulgarian cities. In September 2004, FDI Magazine (a Financial Times Business Ltd publication) proclaimed Varna South-eastern Europe City of the Future citing its strategic location, fast-growing economy, rich cultural heritage and higher education EuroHolding main office is situated in Varna. Golden Sands
Although located 17 km north of downtown Varna, it is virtually connected to the city by a continuous swath of resorts and villa communities. It is a popular tourist destination, drawing many visitors.The area is labelled to have the purest quartz sand on the coast and abounds in old trees and landscaped parks. Hot mineral water springs and woodlands cascading from the Frangen Plateau, forming the Zlatni Pyasatsi Nature Park, turn Golden Sands into one of the most popular tourist spots in Eastern Europe.Three 18-hole golf courses designed by Gary Player are currently (2007) being developed around Balchik and Kavarna to the north.

Sofia
Sofia is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Bulgaria, it’s the 15th largest city in the European Union). One of the oldest capital cities in Europe, the history of Sofia dates back to the 8th century BC. Sofia has rich history and remnants can still be seen today alongside modern landmarks.
Sofia is the major centre of Bulgaria's economic life. The manufacturing sector of the economy, represented by over 800 large manufacturing plants, includes metal products, textiles, rubber and leather goods, printing and electronics. Sofia is also the country's financial hub, home to the Bulgarian National Bank, the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, as well as some of the country's largest commercial banks (such as HVB Bank Biochim, Bulbank, DSK Bank and United Bulgarian Bank). Increasingly Sofia is attracting attention as an outsourcing location for Western European and American multinationals. Sofia is also the headquarters for major Bulgarian and international companies operating in Bulgaria and Eastern Europe.

Plovdiv
Plovdiv is the third-largest city in Bulgaria after Sofia and Varna. The surrounding countryside is sparsely populated and bare, yet the city itself is particularly striking, since it, like Rome, is nestled in between seven hills.
Plovdiv is the centre of the important Thracian agricultural region, and food processing is among the most important industries. The city also produces machinery, textiles, and chemicals. Industry has been expanding since the late 1990s, with numerous modern manufacturing plants built in the city or in its outskirts. In this period, some €500,000,000 has been invested in plant construction. Some of the biggest new plants are the Liebherr refrigerator plant, the Socotab tobacco processing plant, a bicycle plant, a biodiesel plant, the Bulsaphil textile plant and several electronics and high-tech plants producing CD players and other electronic equipment.

Bansko
Bansko is Bulgaria's # 1 ski resort, having the best and most modern ski centre of all Bulgarian ski resorts. During the recent years a multi-million euros investment in a brand new skiing area has been made by Yulen, the company which has the licence to run the skiing area of the resort. Bansko has the best snow record and the longest ski season (15 Dec - 15 May) of all Bulgarian ski resorts. During the last couple of years this resort is under a massive investment process with new hotels and resort facilities being under construction. A brand new resort area with super luxury hotels and holiday apartments is being developed just opposite the Gondola, which also makes Bansko the resort with the best hotels.
Istanbul
Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey.With its population of over 13.26 million people Istanbul is the 3-rd largest metropolitan area in Europe. It is located on the Bosphorus and extends on the European and the Asian side. Istanbul is thereby the only metropolitan in the world that is situated on two continents.
